“It is unlikely that anyone except an approved driving instructor (ADI) has the experience, knowledge and training to teach you properly. Learning safe driving habits from the start will improve the safety of yourself and other road users”
– The Driving Standard Agency
Apply for a provisional license
First things first, before you can learn to drive, you need a provisional driving license! You can apply for one by filling in a D1 form from your local post office or you can do it online by clicking here.
If you’re keen to get going you can do this up to 3 months before your 17th birthday.
Book your driving lessons
When you’re ready to start, contact us and take advantage of our special offers and expertise.
When you have mastered the basics of car control and understand correct road procedures you will benefit greatly from private driving practice, we encourage you to ask family or friends to take you out on the road and we will be happy to speak with them to guide you in the right direction or if they wish they can accompany you on the driving lesson to observe correct procedures
Book your theory test
You can take your theory test once your provisional licence becomes valid. Normally, for car drivers, the earliest date your provisional licence can become valid is your 17th birthday.
Remember, you can apply for the licence up to three months before your 17th birthday however, you will still have to wait until your birthday before you can take your theory test. For more information about the theory test.
